A popular choice for businesses and events because they’re versatile, affordable, and incredibly easy to set up. Roller banners are perfect for trade shows, conferences, or even in-store displays, allowing you to showcase your message in seconds. Although it may take seconds, we often get asked, “What’s the best way to set up a roller banner?” To make things simple, we’ve created a step-by-step guide that tells you exactly how to put it up.
- Choose a Suitable Location
- Find a flat surface with enough space for your roller banner. Ensure the area is free from obstructions and has enough height clearance for the banner to be fully extended.
- Unpack the Roller Banner
- Take the roller banner out of its carry case.
- Set the banner base on the ground with the feet extended (if your model has adjustable feet). This helps stabilise the banner.
- Assemble the Pole
- Roller banners come with a multi-section pole. Take out the pole and connect the sections.
- Ensure the pole is fully assembled and sturdy.
- Attach the Pole to the Base
- Insert the bottom end of the pole into the designated slot on the banner base. It should fit securely, providing the support needed to keep the banner upright.
- Pull Up the Banner
- Starting from the top of the banner, gently pull the banner upwards. Use both hands to maintain control and keep it aligned. Not keeping it straight may damage the banner.
- Continue to extend the banner until it reaches its full height.
- Secure the Banner to the Pole
- To keep the banner in position, attach the top of the pole to the groove at the top of the banner.
- Ensure that the banner is straight and that there are no creases.
- Adjust and Position the Banner
- Double-check the placement of the banner to make sure it’s facing the right direction.
- If needed, adjust the angle of the feet or base to stabilise it. You can also weigh down the legs to make the banner sturdier.
- Pack Away (Optional)
- To retract the banner, unhook it from the top of the pole and gently guide it back down into the base, remembering to keep it aligned.
- Disassemble the pole and store everything back in the carry case for future use.
