What is greaseproof paper?

It’s a sheet with wax or oil applied on one side. This allows you to wrap food items without oil leaking through the way it would on regular paper. Sometimes it’s also called “parchment paper”. Oil can’t seep from these sheets, so any product is safe.

Why do we use vegetable-based oil and inks for our custom-printed food paper?

One of the main uses for our custom-printed food paper is for food businesses like takeaways and fast-food restaurants. Some greaseproof papers use animal fats, but ours is 100% vegetarian-friendly ­ We only use vegetable-based oil and inks. So there’s no risk of meat contamination, suitable for vegan, vegetarian, halal and kosher foods.

Are branded greaseproof paper sheets affordable?

It depends on how much you value the impression you want to give of your brand. Printed sheets cost more than plain ones due to the longer processes involved. Cutting can double or triple the number of sheets you end up with, lowering the price per sheet. We have a low minimum order quantity of 1000 sheets with no setup fees. The price that you see is the price you pay and includes free basic design using your logo and free Mainland UK delivery.

Is it easier to use in rolls or sheets?

When it comes to picking between rolls or sheets, our customers find sheets are easier to use. Rolls are difficult to use in busy fast-paced environments. Also cutting a roll down cleanly proves difficult, not to mention storage issues with a bulky roll. Our sheets offer convenient storage and are individually wrapped into smaller packs for easy and safe storage.

Do you offer A4 and A3 printed greaseproof paper?

A4 and A3 are some of the common sizes we are asked for as these can line standard-sized boxes. Our standard sheet sizes are 500mm x 335mm but we can cut this down to A3 size which is 297mm x 420mm or A4 which is 210mm x 297mm or any other size requirements you may have. Our custom-cutting service lets you use the off-cuts for lining trays/boxes, making your money stretch further. Let us know if you want to keep the offcuts or trim them to another size.

Colours: Sheets are supplied in either 38gsm white paper or 40gsm natural brown paper. Prints can be a single Pantone colour or two Pantone colours.

Quantity: We offer a low minimum order quantity starting from 1,000 sheets. For more than 25,000 sheets, please get in touch.

Turnaround time: 10-14 working days from approval of artwork.
